In five years, World Vision's Cash and Voucher Programming reached 9.8 million people in over 50 countries, distributing $1.5 billion to vulnerable children and families.

Key findings

Nyamata Technical Secondary School (TSS) once struggled with a lack of essential educational resources, leaving students unable to gain practical skills in areas like technology and engineering. This changed dramatically when World Vision partnered with the school in 2010, providing modern computers and digital learning tools that transformed the educational experience. Students like Raymond and Obald now gain hands-on experience in programming, networking, and design, equipping them with skills needed to thrive in Rwanda’s growing digital economy. Teachers have also seen a significant improvement in their ability to deliver effective lessons, thanks to the enhanced resources. Today, Nyamata TSS stands as a powerful example of how targeted support and community partnerships can unlock students’ potential and prepare them for meaningful careers in a tech-driven world.

World Vision is deeply concerned for the well-being of children and their families affected by the earthquake: Children are among the most affected, facing increased risks, loss of learning, and urgent protection needs. World Vision is providing life-saving relief assistance to the children and the families affected by the earthquake. We aim to support 500,000 people, including 85,057 boys and 86,902 girls, through both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts.

Empowering local actors to lead the response, recovery, rehabilitation and development in their countries is a top priority, and building their capacity supports us to achieve our goals of ensuring every girl and boy has what they need to live a life in all its fullness. We partner with supporters, governments, local communities, faith leaders, civil society, faith-based organisations to support the needs of children and their families throughout the region

World Vision’s impactful engagement at the 2025 N4G Summit drove nutrition commitments, child participation, and global advocacy for malnutrition solutions.

The pandemic hit vulnerable families the hardest, including children, women, and people with disabilities. Many struggled with worsening economic and social conditions, leading to poor mental and physical health. Routine vaccinations dropped, and access to healthcare services became more difficult. To address these issues and support the recovery of public health, the organisation has launched its first major healthcare initiative, focusing on strengthening Georgia's health and child protection systems. Family doctors and social workers, were trained on key health topics such as immunisation, Hepatitis, HIV prevention, HPV, TB, and STDs.

Kulbabka is a ceramic studio led by a Ukrainian refugee living in Georgia. He received financial support to purchase equipment, conduct workshops, and enhance the quality and variety of its products. World Vision Georgia is dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods and employment opportunities for Ukrainian refugees in Georgia through the Ukraine Crisis Response Programme. Ukrainian entrepreneurs received financial, material and informational support to help them grow and develop their businesses in Georgia. By supporting small business initiatives, World Vision team empowers beneficiaries to achieve self-reliance, helping them navigate integration challenges and thrive in the local market. This support enables them to stay competitive while fostering long-term economic stability within their communities.
